Our Community
Sustaining Life IC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and intentional community located in the San Luis Valley, Colorado. We are dedicated to living with the land in a sustainable way, building and giving back to the community, and helping to develop other similar communities. Our community is made up of individuals who share the same values and vision for a better future. We believe in living in harmony with nature and each other, and we work towards that goal every day. Our community is open to all who share our values and want to contribute to our mission. We offer various programs and services to support sustainable living and community building. Our team is made up of passionate individuals who bring their unique skills and expertise to the table. We are committed to making a positive impact on our environment and society.

Our Mission
Sustaining Life Intentional Communities (SLIC) is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. At Sustaining Life Intentional Communities, our mission is to create a sustainable and thriving community that serves as a model for others to follow. We believe that by living in harmony with nature and each other, we can create a better world for ourselves and future generations. We are committed to promoting sustainable living, community building, and environmental stewardship. We strive to be a catalyst for positive change in our society and beyond.

Our Purposes
The specific purposes and objectives of the Corporation shall include but not be limited to the following:
1. To provide resources, education, and support to the creation of similar communities.
2. To preserve and protect agricultural lands, wildlife habitat, and natural and biologic features of the northern San Luis Valley.
3. To contribute to the health and wellbeing of the local community.
